SENTRYCAM™ is not a blocker or filter system, it does not require you to create libraries or index files, you do not have to set security alarms and it does not hand out punitive responses if a child makes a mistake.
How SentryCam Works
SENTRYCAM™ watches and captures screenshots of every area of the Internet. It captures games, chat rooms, generic websites, e-mail read and written online and it even follows a child into private chat rooms or private message windows. You can let your child know that SentryCam is watching or you can run the program in stealth mode. This invaluable tool empowers you, the parent, to head-off internet dangers before they become a problem and help you to guide your child's use of the internet.
Below you will find the technical specifications of the software. As you will see SentryCam is highly efficient and uses very little in the way of computer resources, so much so that on most systems you will not even be aware that SentryCam is watching.

Computer: Pentium 100 MHz or higher

The suggested system requirements do not require a modem for connection to the Internet. You can use a modem, DSL or Cable as your connection.
*NT and 2000 will work on single user platforms only.
The downloaded file requires about 2.6 Mb of hard disk space. After installation, this file can be deleted. After installation, the program takes up about 3.7 Mb of hard disk space.
SentryCam takes screen shots at any of the available time intervals that you select. The disk storage space requirements of these screen shots is relative to your screen resolution and your color depth.
Example: If you have a screen resolution of 640 x 480 (800 x 600 will increase these numbers slightly) , and a screen capture timing of one minute, you can expect these results:

The above totals are for image captures set at one minute intervals running 24/7 for approximately 12 days. It is not recommended that you leave SentryCam operating for a period such as this without examining the images and deleting the screen shots no longer required.
